J. Stephen Conn, Wedding Minister & Officiant

Your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life, and it is natural that you would want to know something about the minister you choose to officiate at your ceremony, so please let me introduce myself.

I am an ordained minister with more than 30 years experience as a senior pastor, primarily at a large inter-denominational church. In my ministry I have also traveled extensively in all 50 of the United States and to many foreign countries, and have spoken and conducted seminars on marriage and the family in churches of more than a dozen different denominations. My articles about the home and marriage have been published in more than 30 different journals including: Home Life, Lutheran Journal, Presbyterian Journal, Marian Helpers Bulletin, Pentecostal Evangel, Voice of Fatima, Charisma, and many more.

During my years as a pastor I performed more than 500 weddings, and I must say that being of service to couples during this momentous occasion is one of the greatest joys of my life. I have taken an early retirement from the pastorate and now am available full-time to do the thing I love most - solemnizing marriages.

I feel strongly that the wedding belongs to the couple being married, and not to the minister. I also believe it should be a happy, joyous occasion - done with dignity but still lots of fun. Therefore, I work with every bride and groom in helping them create the ceremony that will reflect their own unique, personalities, tastes and desires.
